Stevie Nicks' career up until 1994 had been marked by significant success both as a member of Fleetwood Mac and as a solo artist. Nicks' solo career took off in 1981 with the release of Bella Donna, which became a commercial hit. She followed this with albums such as The Wild Heart (1983) and Rock a Little (1985), solidifying her status as one of the most iconic rock stars of the era. Throughout the late '80s and early '90s, Nicks faced personal struggles, including issues with addiction, but nevertheless remained a beloved figure to her fans and the industry.
